House Reef: Fuvahmulah does not have a traditional house reef for snorkeling due to its oceanic nature. Diving is done via boat from the island's protected harbor.

Culture & Etiquette: As a local inhabited island, alcohol is not available. It is respectful to dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees) when outside of your guesthouse or the designated tourist beach areas.

Travel & Logistics

How to Get There: The most convenient way to reach Fuvahmulah is via a direct domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé to Fuvahmulah Airport (FVM). The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Island Infrastructure: The island is well-developed with a domestic airport, a modern hospital, schools, shops, and ATMs.

Nearest Hyperbaric Chamber

The nearest hyperbaric chamber is located in the neighboring Addu Atoll.
